Torx Marine provides prefabricated solutions for boat yards and installers of Seakeeper gyros. TORX Marine was founded by engineers at Ocean5 Naval Architects. Torx Marine builds the patented fabrications that Ocean5 designs to support the installation of Seakeeper gyros in vessels of nearly every size. Our capabilities include custom marine fabrications, and
semi-custom fabrications that are pre-welded & powder coated to a yacht quality finish. Having a semi-custom fabrication available off-the-shelf reduces the time of installation, as well as the overall cost of the project.

Seakeeper’s vacuum encapsulation enables the flywheel to spin roughly three times faster, cuts flywheel weight by two-thirds and halves power requirements. Moreover, because the critical components (flywheel, bearings, and motor) are sealed for life in a vacuum, they are forever isolated from the marine environment.

Northern Lights generators are designed for long life and durability in the harshest marine environments. Innovative engineering teams have done away with excess and over-complicated parts, if a part doesn’t exist, it can’t fail. The reduction of components results in a more reliable, easier to maintain, longer lasting unit.

Custom Torx Tubes by Torx Marine extruded aluminum profiles are designed to fit any hull with 20-28 degrees of deadrise.
